MUST Merit & Aggregate Calculator (Mirpur University of Science & Technology)

Use this free MUST merit and aggregate calculator to calculate your admission merit with the formulas on Mirpur University of Science & Technology’s own Merit Criteria page: 10% SSC + 60% F.Sc + 30% entry test for engineering and arts programmes, and 10% + 50% + 40% for BS science programmes.

Quick answer

MUST’s Merit Criteria page sets the formulas by faculty. BSc Engineering and Faculty of Arts four-year programmes = 10% SSC + 60% F.Sc + 30% entry test. BS programmes in the Faculty of Sciences (including CS and IT) = 10% SSC + 50% F.Sc + 40% entry test. Engineering applicants also need at least 33% in a PEC-approved entry test. You register for the entry test on MUST’s SEET portal.

These are the undergraduate formulas on MUST’s own Merit Criteria page. That page does not list separate formulas for Health Sciences (Pharm-D, DPT, MLT, Nutrition), Management Sciences, the Mirpur Institute of Technology (engineering technology) or LLB. For those, use the custom option with the weightage in your admission notice.

For engineering, your F.Sc result carries 60% of the merit, so it matters more than the test.

Common MUST Merit Mistakes

  • Using the science formula for engineering. Engineering uses 10-60-30; science BS uses 10-50-40.
  • Scoring under 33% in the engineering entry test. You are not eligible for engineering below that.
  • Confusing Subsidized and Open Merit seats. Open Merit at MUST means self-finance.
  • Treating the estimate as final. Only MUST’s merit lists are official.

Frequently asked questions

What is the MUST merit formula?

BSc Engineering and Arts four-year programmes: 10% SSC + 60% F.Sc + 30% entry test. BS programmes in the Faculty of Sciences (including CS and IT): 10% SSC + 50% F.Sc + 40% entry test.

What is the MUST entry test called?

You register for MUST’s entry test on its SEET portal (seet.must.edu.pk). Engineering applicants need at least 33% in a PEC-approved entry test.

How is the MUST aggregate calculated for engineering?

SSC % × 0.10 + F.Sc % × 0.60 + test % × 0.30. For example, 950/1100, 900/1100 and 70/100 give 78.73%.

What is the minimum percentage for MUST engineering?

60% in F.Sc Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, ICS, A-levels or a relevant DAE, plus at least 33% in the entry test.

What is Open Merit at MUST?

At MUST, Open Merit seats are self-financed. Subsidized seats are merit-based with the normal fee.

What is the eligibility for Pharm-D and DPT at MUST?

At least 60% in F.Sc Pre-Medical or equivalent.

Is this the official MUST merit?

No. This is an independent calculator built from MUST’s own merit criteria and eligibility documents. MUST publishes the official merit lists.

MUST admissions

How this page was checked. The formulas come from MUST’s own Merit Criteria page. Eligibility comes from its Eligibility Criteria for undergraduate admission Fall 2026, and the fee categories and SEET portal from its admissions page. All were read on 1 October 2026. The other calculator page checked uses the same three formulas. MUST does not list separate formulas for Health Sciences, Management, engineering technology or LLB, so those use the custom option. This site is independent and is not affiliated with Mirpur University of Science & Technology.
