NFC IET Merit & Aggregate Calculator (NFC Institute of Engineering & Technology, Multan)

Use this free NFC IET Multan merit and aggregate calculator to calculate your admission aggregate with NFC-IET’s own formula: 15% Matric + 50% Intermediate + 35% entry test. Enter every test you took (ECAT, NAT or the NFC-IET test); the best one is used, as NFC-IET does.

Quick answer

NFC-IET’s Prospectus 2026 and admission page set one formula for every undergraduate programme: 15% Matric + 50% Intermediate (first-year result) + 35% entry test. If you took more than one accepted test, the highest percentage counts. 5 marks are deducted from the aggregate for improvement or part-passing, and for F.Sc. Pre-Medical candidates who took Mathematics as an additional subject.

NFC-IET uses your first-year Intermediate result for merit, so the total is set to 550. If you already have your full result, NFC-IET still offers admission on the first-year basis; change the total only if your notice says so. If your test has a different total, change it.

What entry test score do you need?

Set your target merit and we work backwards from your Matric and Intermediate marks to the test score you need.

NFC IET Merit Formula 2026: 15% Matric + 50% Inter + 35% Test

Aggregate = 15% Matric + 50% Intermediate (first year) + 35% Entry Test − deductions
RuleWhat NFC-IET says
Academic marks usedFirst-year (Intermediate Part-I) result; admission is provisional until the second-year result meets the eligibility
Tests acceptedEngineering: ECAT or NFC-IET test. Non-engineering: ECAT, NAT or NFC-IET test. B. Architecture: NFC-IET aptitude test only
More than one testThe highest percentage is used
Improvement or part-passing5 marks deducted from the aggregate
F.Sc. Pre-Medical with additional MathsBiology marks replaced by Mathematics marks; 5 marks deducted from the aggregate
Tie (to 3 decimal places)Higher Matric, then Intermediate, then test marks, then the older candidate

The same formula applies to every undergraduate programme. Students from outside Punjab can submit the entry test of their own province’s main UET.

How to Calculate Your NFC IET Aggregate

ComponentMarksPercentageWeightagePoints
Intermediate (first year)480 / 55087.27%50%43.64
ECAT250 / 40062.50%35%21.88
Matric950 / 110086.36%15%12.95
Aggregate——100%78.47%

If the same student had an improvement result, the aggregate would be 78.47 − 5 = 73.47%. If they had also scored 70/100 in the NFC-IET test, that 70% would replace ECAT’s 62.5%, because the higher test percentage counts.

NFC IET Merit Impact: What Each Mark Is Worth

ImprovementChange in aggregate
+10 marks in first-year Intermediate (out of 550)+0.91 points
+10 ECAT marks (out of 400)+0.88 points
+1 mark in a 100-mark test+0.35 points
+10 marks in Matric (out of 1100)+0.14 points
Improvement / part-passing−5.00 points

The 5-mark deduction is large: it equals about 55 marks of first-year Intermediate or 57 ECAT marks.

NFC IET Eligibility Criteria

Candidates on the N, O and P categories must also apply on their provincial open seats. Merit is compared within each category, so the closing aggregate differs between categories.

How to Improve Your Chances at NFC IET

  • Take more than one test. NFC-IET counts your best percentage, so an extra NFC-IET test attempt can only help.
  • Avoid improvement exams if you can. They cost 5 marks from your aggregate.
  • Register for the NFC-IET test early. In 2026 it was held on 27–28 June and 18–19 July.
  • List every programme you would accept on the form. Preferences are hard to change once submitted.
  • Keep your second-year result above the minimum. First-year admission is provisional.

Common NFC IET Merit Calculation Mistakes to Avoid

  • Using full Intermediate marks out of 1100. NFC-IET uses the first-year result.
  • Forgetting the 5-mark deduction for improvement, part-passing or Pre-Medical with additional Maths.
  • Using NAT for engineering. NAT counts only for non-engineering programmes.
  • Entering an ECAT score out of 100. ECAT is out of 400; convert it to a percentage first.
  • Treating the estimate as final. Only NFC-IET’s merit lists are official.
