UAAR Merit & Aggregate Calculator (PMAS Arid Agriculture University)

Use this free UAAR (PMAS Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi) merit and aggregate calculator to calculate your admission aggregate. Agricultural Engineering uses UAAR’s published formula; for other programmes, enter the weightage from your admission notice to calculate your merit.

Quick answer

UAAR’s 2026-27 prospectus gives one merit formula: BSc Agricultural Engineering = 17% Matric + 50% FSc first year + 33% entry test. For its other undergraduate programmes (BSc Agriculture, DVM, CS and others), UAAR requires you to pass its entrance test and admits students on first-year marks provisionally, but it does not publish a percentage split. Use the custom option with the weightage from your admission notice.

For Agricultural Engineering, UAAR’s prospectus says merit is prepared on Matriculation, FSc first-year (or DAE) and entry test marks in the ratio 17:50:33. The test can be UAAR’s own or one from a PEC-recognised testing body.

For every other undergraduate programme, UAAR says only that you must pass the University Entrance Test and that admission is given provisionally on first-year marks. It does not publish how marks and test are weighted, so the calculator lets you enter the split from your programme’s notice rather than guessing.

How to Improve Your Chances at UAAR

  • Pass the entrance test. It is compulsory for every undergraduate programme.
  • Apply on your district quota if you are from a Barani district. You compete only within your district and area (rural or urban).
  • Submit a separate form for each quota you qualify for.
  • Check the notice for your programme to find its exact weightage before relying on the custom calculation.
  • Keep your final result above the minimum. Provisional admission is cancelled otherwise.

Common UAAR Merit Calculation Mistakes to Avoid

  • Treating a 10/40/50 estimate as UAAR’s formula. UAAR publishes a split only for Agricultural Engineering.
  • Using full FSc marks out of 1100. Agricultural Engineering uses first-year marks.
  • Comparing with the wrong list. BSc Agriculture has separate merit for each district and for rural and urban areas.
  • Skipping the entrance test. You must pass it even where its weight is not published.
  • Treating the estimate as final. Only UAAR’s merit lists are official.

UAAR admissions

How this page was checked. The Agricultural Engineering formula, eligibility and district seat distribution come from UAAR’s own Prospectus 2026-27. The first-year admission rule and quotas come from UAAR’s admissions portal, and programme requirements from its admissions page. All were read in September 2026. UAAR does not publish a merit split for its other undergraduate programmes, and the other calculator page checked labels its own split as an unverified estimate, so this page asks you to enter your programme’s weightage instead of presenting a guess.
