Other online calculators use 20% Matric + 30% FSc + 50% entry test for UoP. That formula does not appear in UoP’s Fall 2026 brochure, and no admission test is listed in its schedule. If your department announces a test, use the custom option with the weightage in that notice.

Most programmes have 130 seats; Philosophy has 65 and Home Economics 200. The Fall 2026 re-advertisement listed 53 BS programmes, with online applications from 15 to 27 September 2026 and interviews in departments on 28 September 2026.

Because there is no test, your board results decide everything. HSSC counts more than twice as much as SSC.
How to Improve Your Chances at UoP
- Apply early. The Fall 2026 re-advertisement said seats were limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Claim the relevant-subject marks if you apply for B.Ed, Economics, Political Science or Social Policy.
- Apply to several programmes. With the same 30/70 formula everywhere, your aggregate is the same in each; choose programmes where it fits.
- Bring your documents to the interview. Quota claims and marks are verified there.
- For LLB, pass LAT first. It is compulsory.
Common UoP Aggregate Mistakes
- Using a 20/30/50 formula with a test. UoP’s Fall 2026 BS brochure uses 30% SSC + 70% HSSC with no test.
- Confusing UoP with UET Peshawar. UET Peshawar is a separate university that uses ETEA.
- Expecting a merit update after the full HSSC result. UoP says no adjustment is made if you were admitted on first-year marks.
- Treating the estimate as final. Only UoP’s merit lists are official.
